Job Description:

•Maintenance Technician 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm) and 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12am)
•Provide electrical/mechanical repairs as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
•Technicians are responsible for electrical and mechanical systems in the facility, which will include daily troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities 
•Troubleshoot and repair equipment problems that affect plant productivity including physical machine problem solving and providing input in production problem solving
•Maintain a safe working environment
•Candidates must be familiar and able to work with all PLC activities in the plant to include reading programs and troubleshooting 
•Must be familiar with all HMI systems in the facility with the ability to troubleshoot as necessary
•Repair and troubleshoot various types of AC/DC Drives
•Provide mechanical troubleshooting support working with bearings, gear drives, chain drives, etc.
•Troubleshoot electronic and relay logic to the component level
•Basic knowledge in boilers
•Basis knowledge in ammonia
•Basic knowledge in cooling units
•Basic knowledge in furnace
•Work with 120v, 208vac, 277vac and 480vac
•Troubleshoot electrical issues, which may include both single phase and three phase applications
•Communicate with fellow technicians to help assure a safe work environment and strive for down time reduction
•Attend and participate in all company-mandated meetings
•Any other responsibilities as assigned


Job Requirements:

•Previous experience in machinery or other related fields
•Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
•Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
•Ability to handle physical workload
•Candidates must have the ability to read and analyze engineering documents such as blueprints, schematics, flow charts, and mechanical/electrical drawings in addition to business reports and technical procedures
•A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in manufacturing is preferred
•Ability to work with basic math concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios in practical situations
•Ability to solve practical problems and work with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
•Ability to operate a forklift or previous forklift experience is preferred
