Job Description:

•Responsible for all trade show, conference and webcast details both internally and externally 
•Spearhead PurFoods’ event and tradeshow strategy, including but not limited to: identifying key events, internal team training for attendees (elevator pitch, demos, etc.), plan pre- and post-show communication, staffing event attendance, and overseeing conference venue logistics (e.g., scheduling, use of space, event setup & takedown, etc)
•With Sales and Account Management leadership, develop objectives for lead generation, increasing product uptake, and customer advocacy through conferences and other events.
•Provide consistent and clear communication of events program to all stakeholders, including internal briefing documents for specified events and conferences
•Institute processes and procedures to streamline conference practices across all programs
•Research and identify potential opportunities at the national level for exhibiting, attending and speaking engagements
•Track feedback from internal conference attendees in order to conduct analysis and provide a report on ROI to help evaluate shows and make recommendations for future participation 
•Manage conference spending and participate in annual planning and budgeting
•Oversee creative process for all pre and post conference communications
•Consult with marketing team to determine best opportunities for added value 
•Communicate specs and timelines for value-added initiatives for national conferences 
•Collaborate with marketing on development of support materials 
•Manage all event inventory, including booth displays and signs, meal demos, event presentations, sales and marketing collateral and giveaway items
•Keep up to date with health plan trends to evaluate best fit of conferences 
•Maintain association memberships


Job Requirements:

•Process driven with high attention to detail and deadlines
•Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
•Previous experience as a conference planner or comparable 
•Self starter who can work with little direction
•Associates or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience project management 
•Computer knowledge and prior use of sales database, and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong usage in Excel
•Ability to understand change initiatives and move appropriately 
•Aptitude to react quickly and think creatively to provide solutions 
•Ability to work within a team environment, but also work independently at times
•Strong verbal and written communication skills
•Bachelor degree with 4-6 years of related experience
•Travel up to 10%
