Job Description:
We are currently searching for a Quality Assurance Floor Technician on our 2nd shift. The 2nd shift hours are 3:30am – 12am, Monday- Friday, with possible Saturday and overtime.
•Maintains daily audit records
•Monitors compliance to sanitation & GMP requirements of all employees
•Performs audits on coolers to ensure that all items are packed as required by the order and specification
•Performs audits on gel packs as they are being made to assure target weights and proper seals
•Responsible for general cleaning tasks as needed and assigned by the Quality & Food Safety Manager
•Monitor and document room temperatures throughout the facility as assigned by management.
Job Requirements:
•High School Diploma or GED required
•Some previous work related experience in food manufacturing, food safety and/or quality assurance is preferred
•Must be at least 18 years of age
•Excellent communication skills for both verbal and written communication
•English must be the primary language (must be able to read, write and speak English)
•Bilingual - Proficiency in the Spanish language is a plus
•Basic computer is required
•Basic math and measurement conversion skills is required
•Must be organized and detail oriented with problem solving skills
•Must be able to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
•Must be able to learn and adapt to an ever changing work environment and situations
•Must have the physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods of time
•Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50 pounds
•Must have good visual perception as needed to perform job duties
•Must be able to perform repetitive movements
•Must be able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
