Job Description:
- Coordinates movement and accounting of physical inventory. Tracks, monitors, and moves incoming/outgoing inventory at the fulfillment center. Prepares and stages items for internal order fulfillment and outbound loads for external production.
- Oversees day to day warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory control, and material moves.
- Assists with development and planning of strategic initiatives to ensure distribution center is well positioned for future growth.
- Coordinates with Finance, Purchasing, Production, and Fulfillment departments regarding inventory, transfer, and replenishment needs.
- Conducts weekly and monthly counts for all products in the facility. Updates / confirms inventory program based on actual cycle count numbers.
- Ensures FEFO/FIFO processes are being followed.
- Manages traffic of trucks coming into the warehouse dock area. Verifies bills of lading are accurate and temperatures are recorded in compliance with food safety requirements.
- Scans and tracks all incoming product and location moves into WMS program to ensure information showing is accurate. Logs product received into computer system for verification.
- Ensures forklifts, trailers, trucks, stackers, ladders, pallets, shelves, and warehouse machinery are in safe operating condition.
- Conducts performance appraisals. Provides measurable feedback to assigned personnel and suggestions for improved performance. Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed.

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 3 years previous warehouse supervisory experience.
- Must be willing and able to work occasional weekends.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Above average computer skills using WMS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Lean manufacturing certification or experience leading in a company practicing Lean.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Able to work at varied temperatures: Dock, cooler, & freezer (-10° to 100°).
